Saying farewell to the warmth
Ok ladies. If you're here in Chicago you can see that today is a beautiful day (weather wise anyway). This might be the last warm day we get until spring so we better take advantage. Lets get one more good wear out of our summer pieces. I've put together a look using items I've purchased from Torrid. A yellow lace hemmed tank, dark distressed boyfriend jean, olive perforated heels, and a 3/4/sleeve black military blazer (just in case it gets a little chilly). This look seems simple enough. Now lets add some accessories from Muah. A black studded bib necklace $30 and two pewter disc bangles $10 (stunting like Fantasia in the last post). Ready set work it girl!!!

Muah to you too Fannie
Season 2 of VH1's 'Fantasia for Real' is already "tickling my fancy". In episode 2 Fantasia discussed her love life (she mentioned that she was dating a guy who was separated) and ironically her hit single "Bittersweet" was also featured. Fantasia has been spotted rocking some of the flyest accessories and in this episode she did not hold back. She wore a combination of different "bangin'" bracelets, she also wore two of them at the 2010 Bet "Celebration of Gospel". These bracelets can be purchased at www.muahcollection.com for a mere 10 bucks each. Looking like a celebrity on an ordinary budget is only a click away....Check out 'Fantasia for Real' Sunday's 10/9pm central on VH1.

2010 International Fuller Woman Expo
The 2010 International Fuller Woman Expo was OUT OF Sight this past weekend at the Westin Book Cadillac Hotel in Detroit, Mi. I've never experienced anything like it. Cassandra Jones-McBryde and Stephaine Penn-Danforth put together an amazing event. There were discussion panels, fabulous fashion shows, gift give aways and more. I was truly blessed to be one of the vendors that night. I even won a $100 gift certificate from Kiyonna and I purchased a fierce red cocktail dress that I've had my eye on for a while. Celebrities like Judge Karen Mills-Francis (Judge Karen), Whitney Thompson (America's Next Top Model Plus Size Winner), Mia Amber-Davis ('Road Trip' the movie & Plus Size Super model), and last but not least Kim Coles ('Living Single' & 'In Living Color') were in the building. Kim Coles served as the keynote speaker for the night and she introduced us to her empowerment program called G.I.F.T.S (a journey of self discovery). She also purchased a handbag and a couple of cocktail rings from Muah's vendor table. It was wonderful to see so many women from all different shapes, sizes, and ethnicity's come together for the sole purpose of uplifting one another. It's time that the world recognizes the internal and external beauty of the plus sized woman. This Expo is a great start and it is an event that I believe all fuller women should experience. See you there next year...
